Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist to join our team as a key contributor to our molecular and cell biology initiatives. This onsite, wet-lab-focused role is ideal for a researcher who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possesses the technical expertise to drive innovation in cell-based assays. You will work within a cross-functional team, taking ownership of experiment design and execution while contributing to the characterization of iPSC-derived cell populations. This is a compelling opportunity for a focused professional to apply advanced molecular biology techniques and automation to high-impact biological research.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, executing, and troubleshooting new cell-based assays, protocols, and analysis methods.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using automation platforms such as BRAVO and Apricot to increase assay throughput.
- Design and execute complex experiments, interpret data, and communicate findings clearly and concisely to key stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance and characterization of iPSC-derived cell populations.
- Utilize advanced molecular biology techniques, including immunocytochemistry and qPCR.
- Perform high-sensitivity plate-based assays using platforms such as Quanterix, Luminex, and MSD.
- Collaborate effectively across functional areas to support overarching research goals.
- Maintain accurate data analysis and meticulous notebook records of all lab activities.
Education
- PhD degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, Immunology, Biological Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 5+ years of wet lab experience in either academia or industry (industry experience preferred).
- Extensive experience with mammalian cell culture using sterile techniques.
- Proven track record with extensive in vitro experimentation and assay development.
- Demonstrated ability to remain focused and work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong communication skills, with experience preparing formal lab reports and presentations.

- Work Environment: This is a strictly onsite/in-lab position.
- Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy in data management and lab notebook maintenance is essential for success in this role.
