Description
The Health Registration Management (HRM) Business Process Operations group within Regulatory is seeking a skilled Power Automate/Power Apps Developer for a short-term contract through December 31. This position plays a key role in designing, developing, and supporting “smart forms” that streamline centralized data entry and improve data quality across global regulatory systems. The work supports a multimillion-dollar business transformation project tied to the organization’s transition to the Veeva Registrations Vault. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly Power Platform solutions that enhance regulatory data workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain “smart forms” using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and SharePoint.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into effective, extensible data entry forms and workflows.
- Integrate API calls and endpoints for real-time and scheduled data retrieval.
- Implement form validation, error handling, and conditional logic for improved data integrity.
- Develop and document solution design specifications following form design best practices.
- Collaborate with Regulatory SMEs, Veeva teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with system requirements.
- Optimize user experience through research, design enhancements, and usability feedback.
- Deliver solutions using agile methodologies with a focus on quality, performance, and scalability.
Education
- BS/BA in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Proven experience developing in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Strong background in SharePoint List development, including workflows, scalability, rules, and JSON usage.
- Demonstrated experience integrating APIs for data retrieval and automation.
- Skilled in business process automation, data validation, and workflow logic design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- (Highly Preferred) Pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge of regulatory systems, including Veeva Vault RIM Registrations.
Additional Information
- This is a short-term contract role ending December 31.
- The position is not intended for regular Data Analysts or Business Analysts; it requires a strong technical and Power Platform development background.
