Scientist - I

Summary
We are seeking a Scientist to join our team, supporting vaccine clinical assay development. This role requires hands-on laboratory work, including complex pipetting techniques, media preparation, and assay execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute assay development experiments for vaccine clinical assays, including complex pipetting and plate map schemes.
• Prepare media and reagents to support laboratory operations.
• Maintain general laboratory upkeep, including maintenance and ordering of supplies.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and real-time records in compliance with documentation standards.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within and across workgroups.
• Work under direct to moderate supervision in a structured laboratory environment.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) required – no higher or lower education levels considered.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of related laboratory experience with demonstrated pipetting skills at various volumes.
• Experience with MSD or Luminex platforms is preferable.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques, multitask, and keep accurate records.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High sense of responsibility, accountability, and professional integrity.
