Project Coordinator – Scientific II
Position Description
The Project Coordinator – Scientific II will support the Biologics Science and Technology (Bio S&T) organization by assisting the Chief of Staff with executing strategic initiatives, managing daily operations, and coordinating communications across the organization. This role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking abilities to ensure projects are executed efficiently and organizational priorities are met. The position combines tactical responsibilities with opportunities to contribute to internal and external communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Track and manage key projects and initiatives across multiple areas within Bio S&T.
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Compile and prepare reports on project status, risks, and resource requirements for review by the Chief of Staff.
Coordinate and organize meetings, events, and other arrangements at the direction of the Chief of Staff.
Plan and execute people and culture activities across Bio S&T.
Lead the creation and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters and organization-wide updates.
Support the preparation and delivery of important communications from the Bio S&T Leadership Team (MLT).
Monitor communication channels and gather feedback to improve organizational engagement strategies.
Provide tactical and administrative support for key initiatives and special projects.
Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and collaboration.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2–5 years in a scientific, technical, operations, or project coordination role, ideally supporting senior leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality work under tight timelines.
- Advanced proficiency with Office 365 (MS Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Co-pilot).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, relevant sciences, or a related field required.
