Description
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with 4-6 years or Master or PHD in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, life sciences, or other relevant areas with 2-3 year of experience in wet lab work.
Required skills and experience:
• Ability to calculate protein concentrations and dilutions.
• Ability to learn basic analytical skills faster with training.
• Experience with single- and multi-channel manual pipettes.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures.
• Ability to multi-task while working safely and independently.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Note: 12 months assignment. M-F(8am-5p). Lab based onsite role. • Perform basic protein chemistry experiments such as measuring protein concentration from absorbance measurements (OD280 nm) and calculate dilutions.
• Manually aliquot and label vials containing purified proteins for storage.
• Support vialing of purified protein solutions using bio-microlab instrumentation.
• Handle Occupational Exposure Band (OEB4 and OEB5) compounds safely by following Environment, Health, and Safety protocols and procedures.
• Prepare solutions and buffers following established SOPs.
• The position is very SOP oriented - the worker will be responsible for aliquoting, labeling, storing samples and perform basic ADC QC.
• Workers will be handling very important and sensitive samples, so they must have some wet lab experience.
• Experience with protein characterization is highly preferred.
• Perform protein (mAb and ADC) characterization such as CE-SDS, Mass Spectrometry and SEC with training.
• Help track/document service calls for maintenance and instrument repair.
• Document data as needed in an electronic lab notebook.
